Ana Paula Oliveira is a Brazilian actress born on the 26th of May 1978 at Campinas Sao Paulo. She is a well-known actress for Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March of 2020. She is currently the manager of the Assassination Witness Project, which is an integral part of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. At GI-TOC, her research focuses on assassinations in contexts of illegal economies. Her research interests are in the impact of organized criminality on the law, policies and law related with human rights. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with honors in International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva. She also holds an LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She was a trained lawyer who worked for four years with a public law litigation firm. In her past, she has been employed by non-governmental organisations headquarter in Rio de Janeiro as well as Geneva.
